Welcome, I’m so pleased you dropped by with an interest in Culinary Nutrition.
As part of my role as Senior Lecturer, Discipline of Dietetics and Nutrition at La Trobe University I’m exploring research opportunities in the areas of culinary competencies and health. There are so many unknown questions! Like what are the common barriers to cooking? Is there a basic skill set and level of food literacy needed? Are people that cook more frequently healthier? Happier? Are people deskilling or simply changing their cooking styles?
I’m also passionate about cooking up new ideas to keep culinary nutrition alive – so stay tuned for some upcoming projects that I’d love you to join me in.
