Scoop Subs wrap up & new Summer Intern – by Emma Stirling APD

I’m hijacking today’s Friday foodie post to update you on all things Scoop Subs.  If you have an interest in our social media mentoring program, then this post is for you.  And if you want to find out about the awesome content our subs are creating we have something for you too. Sorry it’s a tad late in the day, but mine started at 6am with prep for my La Trobe students ricotta making prac (follow #foodwithlatitude) and ended with an engaging afternoon presenting at a foodservice dietitians event.  So it’s with glass of wine in hand I say….

A huge thanks To the most wonderful bunch of dietitians and dietitians-2-be that have spent the last 6months as our 6 Scoop Subs.   Their Facebook posts have been interesting, considered and entertaining and our google hangouts have taught me a thing or too as well. In no particular order….

Thanks to Georgie Child APD from Sydney for adding her blog Food Child into the mix and stunning food inspiration like this Beet Burger Salad. Food Child - veggies on a plate photo

Thanks to Adam Delaine for showing us the way with an effective Facebook page Lettuce Inspire…even though I’m still pressuring him to start a blog.  Adam will be staying around to be a Scoop Reporter.

Thanks to dietitian Liz Harburg from Simple. Real. Nutrition for her fab guest post and being brave enough to take on my challenge of video content.  How effective is this Strawberry Chia Jam recipe?

Thanks to Emma Stubbs from Broccoli and Blueberries for her witty writing and tackling important issues like orthorexia in her blog post on The Rise of Unhealthy Healthy Eating.  Emma will also be staying on as a Scoop Reporter and working with me on a very special project for 2015.

Thanks to Ashley Webb for being a fab contributor and bringing us guest posts like 7 Habits for a Healthy Gut.

And to Tom Scully for the time he could be with us…..it was so good to have another bloke in the mix. I hope, lovely scoop readers, that you continue to support these Scoop Subs in all that they do.  They really are an extraordinary bunch and I feel so priviledged to have spent time with them.
