Peanut butter hummus recipe with veggies

Spicy Peanut Butter Hummus

Makes approx. 2 cups

Preparation time: 15 minutes                       Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

4-5 cloves garlic, crushed

2 teaspoons cumin

2 teaspoons ground coriander

440g can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

½ cup KRAFT Natural Peanut Butter Smooth or Crunchy

2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce

¼ – 1/3 cup water

Turkish bread or pita bread, toasted for serving

Fresh vegetables, cut into strips for serving

Method

  1. HEAT the oil in a small saucepan and gently sauté the garlic and spices over a low heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the chickpeas and cook a further minute then transfer to a food processor with the peanut butter, chilli sauce and water then process until smooth.
  2. SPOON the hummus into a serving bowl and chill until required. Place onto a serving platter and serve with bread and vegetables for dipping.
